The Daily Blade, Volume 1, Issue 83

YARGH, YARGH, ARGH, NEYARGH! this was almost titled "Technology Bytes II: When Technology becomes repetitious." but I felt this title was a lot better. Don't you agree? Well, I tried to type that same paper today and still couldn't print it. My bad luck shines through! I hate technology at certain times. Certain, certain, cert ain, cert, certs, Certs mini mints, with retsen. Mmmm... breath fresheners... ALWOURG...

My brain is taking a last scream of pain as Psylocke's (locke?) psychic knife passes through my brain. Wait, that wasn't me, that was Siryn. Oh well, comic book character I am not. Female I am not. Okay, I really jst wanted a follow up to my first story and this title fit perfectly. Happy? I'm being truthful, just what all of you wanted.

NO TV AND.... NO TV MAKE EDITOR something something....

Yes, my wonderful roomate ran off with the tv tonight to take it to his girlfriend's. Don't get mad at him, it is his girlfriend's tv. Well, I got some of my favorite music and started picking out what key they were played in on my keyboard. Did you know that Kenny Loggins' song "Meet Me Halfway" is in G sharp? Oh well, enough about my boring life. Here's Locke! Not to say he's boring....

LOCKE'S LOOK IN THE GAMING WORLD

Today let's take a look at a classic game. Final Fantasy 3 is probably the best RPG I have ever played. (Hey Thorn, you agree?) The graphics, music, and everything else was superior to most games of it's time. It's about an empire that's goal is to become the most powerful army in the world. You begin as a girl captured by the empire and forced to wear a Slave Crown, putting her under their control. She has a myserious power of magic that was destroyed many years ago, and when she escapes and joins a rebel group the empire hunts her down. A great RPG. If you've got PlayStation, get Final Fantasy Anthology (FF3 and 5). I will.

Rating- 5 YES!!!! FIVE!!!! FIVE!!!! AND NOT THAT CRAPPY ALL-BOY GROUP!!!! FIVE!!!!! FIVE!!!! FIVE!!!! Wait, what about Secret of Mana?

LOCK IN SOCK

Hello all you SpiceGirl fans! Speaking of which...where'd they go?...I just wanted to let you know I don't really turn stuff sideways and...well..I'm not gonna' say it. Don't want Kenny throwing up all over his keyboard. Anyway...I like Weird Al. Yea...Ya know..Yesterday I had cheese...It was good...Anyway, have nothing funny to say except VISIT MY WEBPAGE OR I WILL FIND OUT WHERE YOU LIVE!!! HAHAAHAHAHAHA!...Sorry...Kinda'lost my mind for a second...Chow!

Editor's Note: Spicegirls? They disbanded and are trying solo careers just like Geri. If you don't know, she was Ginger Spice. And I don't throw up on keyboards.

Did You Notice?

Subject: Commercials

Did you notice...
-Most of the time, the commercial has nothing to do with what is being sold?
-Jingles are catchy, but they never seem to help you buy the item?
-Toy commercials are on mostly during the day and at christmas time?
-Clothing commercials make the least sense?
-the girl in the Pepsi commercials is really good at what she does, though I hate the "Godfather" one?

Did You Know?

Subject: TV

Did you know...
-The Simpsons' were supposed to be canceled after their ninth season? They weren't obviously because this is the 12th.
-Britney Spears was banned form the Disney channel for not wearing a bra? She appears still though, so they obviously weren't serious.
-WGN is dumping all of its WB programming?
-Some Pokemon episodes will never been shown in the U.S. due to graphic content?

Song of the Day.

"If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time" by R. Kelly.

This song is beautiful, and it was arranged and written by R. Kelly himself. I'm impressed. I love this song for the tune. Of course, I took a chance thinking it was a certain song when I bought it, and it was!

Eight-Ball Mayhem.

Since you've told us this big secret, are you killing the column?

Prediction Hazy. Ask again later.

52-TWENTY

Here's the chorus of a new song I've been working on. Real deal, too. I just need to get some verses for it and I'm all set with a third completed song. I'm thinnking about calling it "Paradise a mile away." I doesn't quit fit in with "Return to Me" or "Tell the Sun Goodbye" though. I love these songs, mostly because I wrote them.

The midnight oil burning oh so bright
Guides me to your window in the middle of the night.
And I know tomorrow is just another day
I can see my paradise is just another mile away.

This is the first upbeat song I'm serious about. The first was some horrible rap thing that would never fly because I hate rap. I have no Idea why I wrote that song either. I was going to call it "Pop-Rock Lingo." Ugh....

Trivia Time.

Subject: X-men. Sorry, but I'm out of ideas until tomorrow.

1. What is the only non-clone(IT CAN'T BE JOSEPH!) x-man that has died and stayed dead?
2. When the X-men fought the Marauders for the first time, which x-men were injured?
3. Which of those injured x-men returned to the team?
4. What is the current team roster?
5. Who did Xavier unleash onto the entire marvel earth because he bottled up his emotions?

Answers. I know, I know, you all were like "NO MORE! PLEASE!!!! I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!"

1. Thunderbird.
2. Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Shadowcat.
3. They all returned eventually, though the latter two when Excalibur disbanded years later.
4. well, Pheonix, Cyclops, Archangel, X-man, and Cable. Of course, Xavier really only kept Storm.
5. ONSLAUGHT!!!!!! Cool character, cool concept. Really.
